Holds a Law degree from FMU – Faculdades Metropolitanas Unidas and a degree in Economics from UNIB – Universidade Ibirapuera. He is a university professor. He earned a Ph.D. in Social Sciences, with an emphasis in Political Science, from the Pontifical Catholic University of São Paulo (PUC-SP), and a Master’s degree in Economic Development from the Federal University of Paraná (UFPR). He also completed a postgraduate specialization in Tax Law at the International Institute of Social Sciences (IICS) and obtained certification in Advanced Finance from the University of La Verne, California, USA.
He currently serves as a member of the Regional Council of Economics of the State of São Paulo (CORECON-SP), where he is responsible for the Registration Committee, the Inspection Committee, and the Economics in Debate Committee.
His work focuses on competitiveness studies, particularly issues related to the Brazil Cost (“Custo Brasil”) and industrial policy. He has extensive experience in developing economic studies that support public policies aimed at fostering the real economy, especially the industrial sector.
In the private sector, he practices as both an economist and an attorney, within the legal scope of each profession. He actively participates in business forums organized by FIESP, CIESP, and CNI. He has authored numerous academic articles, served as a panelist at various conferences, and is a frequent lecturer.
